At Reverend’s Ridge campground, you can stay in a park yurt for as little as $20 per night. You’ll get a full campsite, electricity, wall heating and a tent pad. Plus, you can enjoy a fire pit and picnic table outside your yurt. You can also use the bathhouse and showers, which are within walking distance of your yurt.
The yurts are made of wood and canvas. They feature outside decks, picnic tables and a charcoal grill and fire pit. Inside, you’ll find furniture to sleep six, electrical outlets, large windows and lockable doors.

If you want a more luxurious, private overnight experience, you can rent a yurt at Nomad Ridge at The Wilds. These spacious accommodations boast Asian-inspired decor and unique accents like bamboo flooring. They’re tucked away next to The Wilds’ animal pasture areas and offer sweeping views of the wilderness.

You can book a yurt at several popular nature parks in Oregon. Cloudland Canyon, Red Top Mountain, High Falls and Tugaloo state parks all have yurts that can accommodate up to six people. You’ll need to bring sleeping bags or linens, cooking utensils, food and drinks along with any personal items you’d like to keep in the yurt.
Yurts are also popular at Newport’s South Beach State Park, which has 14 yurts that allow pets. They’re a short walk from the beach and surrounded by plenty of fishing, boating and surfing opportunities.
Our yurts are equipped with a queen-sized bed and a futon that folds up to a full-size mattress, as well as a bathroom with shower. Guests will also have a mini-refrigerator, personal coffee brewer and a selection of complimentary coffees and teas to choose from.
We recommend bringing your own linens, bedding and towels for your pet. Your pet must be kept on a leash when in the yurt, as well as any other area of the campground.
